We’re appealing for information following reports of cars being vandalised with spray paint in the area of Herrick Road, Leicester.
Police have received eight reports between 2 November last year and 9 February this year of damage being caused to a car which has been parked in the street. Each report relates to a car being vandalised with red spray paint. The reports have each been made by different car owners.
No other damage has been caused to the cars in the incidents and no items have been stolen.
A 65-year-old man, of Leicester, has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. He has since been released under investigation.
Enquiries remain ongoing.

Anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area of Herrick Road is also asked to check this as it could assist with our enquiries.
