An appeal to trace relatives of a Leicester woman who died late last year has been launched. It comes after no known next of kin could be found.
Jane Ann Green was found dead at her home in the city centre area of Leicester on December 2, 2021. In the months since then, Leicester Coroner’s have been unable to trace any relatives of the 64-year-old.
It is now hoped that a public appeal can help find any relatives of the late Leicester woman. This is ahead of an inquest into her death being held next month.
As part of their appeal, Leicester Coroner’s Court confirmed that Jane’s name prior to marriage was Jane Giddens. It is hoped that this could help find any next of kin.
The inquest into Ms Green’s death will be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 1 pm at Leicester Coroner’s Court. Anyone with information about relatives or next of kin is urged to come forward to coroners as soon as possible.
