Rutland has one of the lowest crime rates in the country.  If you have any information relating to a crime or suspicious behaviour, please dial 101 and pass it to your local Beat Officer.  Crime is the responsibility of the whole community.

North Beat.

Great Casterton – burglary business, from steel container in Water Lane, between 4.30pm 10.3.21 and 6.45am 11.3.21. lock securing metal container broken and a Wacker plate used for compacting surfaces stolen.  Make and type not yet available.  The weight suggests a vehicle and two persons would probably have been necessary.

If you have CCTV in this area, or travelled along this road please check any dash cam you may have.  If you have information of person(s) behaving suspiciously, please pass by tel 101 quoting ref 21*01357582.

Even if you don’t have a Land Rover please be alert to the continuing attacks on these vehicles.  If you see anyone acting suspiciously near one of these vehicles, don’t intervene but try to record the number of any vehicle present if it is safe to do so and please report it the Police using tel 101.
