Community Safety Report for 3 days ending 8.4.21

North Beat.

Greetham – theft from lorry parked overnight 6/7.4.21 (Tues/Wed) in lay by, Great North Road.  Side curtains of lorry cut and boxes of Amazon goods stolen from 3-4 pallets.  Contents not known at this stage.

Greetham – theft from lorry parked overnight 7/8.4.21 (Wed/Thurs) Wood Lane.  Side curtain of lorry cut and items stolen from pallets.  Not yet known what stolen.

South Beat

Braunston in Rutland – theft of two wrought iron gates, part of field, bordering The Wisp, discovered 10.20am 6.4.21.

South Luffenham – theft of catalytic converters from three vehicles parked overnight 6/7.4.21 in two adjacent compounds at Station Road.  In one case a hole cut in wooden fence, and second chain link fencing cut to gain access to vehicles.

 

Dogs stolen in South Kilworth found in Greater Manchester.  2 women and a man arrested.

Rutland South Crime report for March 2020

5th – Edith Weston – damage to barrier/gates

17th Stoke dry – possession of cannabis and drug driving offences.

18th -20th  – North Luffenham – theft of number plates

20th – Manton – persons camping found in possession of cannabis and COVID19 breach

21st Seaton Road Barrowden – At 15:38 hours male has entered an open shed on the farm and taken mountain bike, believed he left in a blue car.

22nd – Luffenham Road, Lyndon – Construction site, two plant machinery stolen overnight, a Bobcat B260 Tailswing excavator and a 1 ton high lift dumper. Container also broken into.
