We shall endeavour to bring you updates on the covid 19 effects.

There may be disruptions to waste services so if ever there were a time to avoid packaging, this is it!  We are giving the link for Rutland County Council Waste Services so you can all keep up to date. You may have to paste into your browser.

Advice about rubbish and recycling collections for anyone with confirmed or possible coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please follow the advice below on how to store your waste if you have confirmed or possible coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • double bag all waste that contains tissues, face cloths etc and store this securely in your refuse bin
  • please do not leave this waste in communal areas until it has been stored for at least 72 hours

Government advice states there is no need to offer a separate clinical collection for this waste at this stage. We will continue to review this situation.
