Leicester Police have recovered a number of suspected stolen tools

Officers have released a number of photos of suspected stolen tools which have been recovered.

On Friday 23 August, a vehicle was stopped by police in Desford and within the vehicle were a number of tools which officers suspect are stolen.

Three men from Derbyshire aged 22, 24 and 25 have been arrested on suspicion of theft from motor vehicle and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Mike Steer, the investigating officer, said: “We have released images of these suspected stolen tools in the hope to reunite them with their rightful owners.

“Do you recognise these tools? Perhaps you know someone who may have similar tools stolen recently and these could be theirs? If so, please get in touch with us.”
