Oakham Beat.

Oakham, Church Street. 2.47am 6.12.18 (Thurs), Burglary non-dwelling, force front door believed disturbed by occupier of upstairs flat. No details of suspect or property stolen.
Oakham, Lawn Tennis Club, The Vale, overnight 9/10.12.18 (Sun/Mon), Burglary non-dwelling, wooden door forced cash taken from coffee machine.
Oakham, Pillings Road, between midnight 7.12 and 11.02am 11.12.18, Theft of Ivor Williams tipping trailer, silver colour, under 3.5 tonne, no further identification.
Oakham, Northgate, between 7-9pm 10.12.18 (Mon), Criminal damage, eggs thrown at vehicle scratching paintwork.

Rutland North Beat.

Stretton, Spinney Lane, slip road A1,between 4.30pm-6.30pm 6.12.18 (Thurs) theft of silver VW polo motor vehicle FX 51CUJ. Left secure after accident; damage to radiator and sump.
Thistleton, Grange House, Main Street, between 10.15am and 4.30pm 6.12.18 (Thurs). Theft of freestanding green post/parcel box by pulling out of concrete block. Contents not known.
Tickencote, Bloody Oaks Service Station, Casterton Road. About midnight 10.12.18, (Mon), Criminal damage to lock of HGV fuel tank. No fuel taken. Believed disturbed by driver. No details of suspect(s).
Tickencote, Great North Road, between 8.45pm 10.12 and 1.40am 11.12.18 (Mon/Tues). Theft of diesel from HGV, approx. £215.
Hambleton, Ketton Road, between 11.25am-11.50am 12.12.18 (Wed). Burglary-dwelling at semi-detached ground floor side window forced. 2 male suspects in VW Golf GTD seen to leave area at speed approx. 11.50am. Anyone with any information please contact PC 1742 Appleton Rutland Police by tel on 101.
Greetham, lay-by A1 Southbound, 4.34am 13.12.18 (Thurs). Theft of clothing from lorry by cutting off padlock. Suspects (no details) disturbed by driver.

Rutland South Beat.

Ketton, construction site in Church Road, overnight 5/6.12.18 (Wed/Thurs). Burglary non-dwelling, force entry to garage and steal Micro digger. Believed hire vehicle, details not yet known.
Ketton, Wheatlands Close, between midnight 23.11/midnight 7.12.18. Theft of domestic heating oil, 2-300 litres. Possibly related 2 male suspects disturbed approx. midnight 7.12.18, nearby in garden in Manor Green (no oil tank), who got into a white Ford Transit van. Any information about either incident to PC 2113 Icke on tel 101.

This type of offence is now becoming a regular occurrence and can be expected to continue through the winter or until the suspects are arrested. Edith Weston, Rutland Sailing Club, Gibbert Lane, between 4pm 9.11 and 9am 9.12.18. Theft of road trailer for Laser 2000 sailing dinghy, in trailer parking area. Bike lock linking to two other trailers cut. Each wheel bears losers name, postcode and mobile telephone number.
Morcott, Travel Lodge Motel car park, A47. Between 12.04am and 8.45am 12.12.18 (Wed). Theft of Mercedes Sprinter van white BG 17LDA containing children’s party toys.

Uppingham Beat.

Uppingham, cricket ground 300 metres off Leicester Road, between approx. 2am-4am 8.12.18 (Sat). Burglary non-dwelling, front shed door attacked believed spanner sets, tool boxes, a drill and petrol stolen 2 men and vehicle seen at premises, but no further details known.
