Vehicle crime, Cricket Lawns, 1.45am 1.5.19. (Wed). Victim hears sounds outside and
finds two males searching inside his car. Make off in silver Vauxhall Astra. No index mark
and no further descriptions of suspects.
Anyone with CCTV in the area please check for vehicle containing probably 3 males. Any

Theft of cycle (youth’s), cut fastening to post, outside Kavanagh’s Tea Rooms Church
Walk, between 12 noon and 6pm 27.4.19 . Cycle has extra large fat tyres with yellow tabs

TickencoteTheft of diesel (3 cases) syphoned from lorries parked Casterton Road (layby
for A1(N) overnight 29/30.4.19 (Mon/Tues).
Empingham – Theft of approx. 300 litres diesel between 10.29pm 1.5 and 1.15am 2.5.19.
from container in quarry, opposite Blood Oaks, Great North Road. 10 containers found
stacked nearby awaiting collection.

South Rutland Beat.

KettonTheft of road roller from Bridge Road, Luffenham Road, (Cavendish Hall Gospel
Trust), between 8pm-9pm 26.4 (Fri). Stolen Borag mechanical sit on roller. Serial number
known ending ********2603.  Value approximately £14,000.

Edith WestonBurglary non-dwelling, container and shed broken into off Manton Road,
overnight 2/3.5.19 (Thur/Fri). Fence panel removed, vehicle driven onto land and metal
container jemmied at side. Stolen: Stihl strimmer (£500) and Stihl motorised nap sack
(£500), plus quantity of old wind surfing equipment (3 boards, 4 sails).

CaldecottUnexplained behaviour, Great Easton Road, 5.5.19. Blue Chevrolet car,
CK60 *XU. Female driver, 2 male passengers. Vehicle stopped alongside houses for 2
mins and then reversed into driveway and drove off. No obvious explanation, recent break
ins in the area.
