Local Crime Update 7 days to 9.6.19.

Oakham Beat.

Theft of pedal cycle from outside Dominoes Pizza, Melton Road, at approximately 7.30pm 6.6.19 (Thur).  Stolen, after cutting security chain, a blue and orange Moonraker mountain bike (short straight bars).  Below is a photo of a similar type bike.  Value not know approx. £2,000.  Suspects two teenagers: 1.  White male, approximately 5,8”, growing a moustache, wearing a red hoodie.  2.  A white female, lightish hair, wearing all black, riding a BMX bike.  Any sightings or suggestions as to identity of suspects please to PC 1312 Lloyd on tel 101.

Greetham.

Theft of caravan,about 4.30pm, 6.6.19 (Thur) from Greetham Garage, Great North Road.  Stolen cream/ivory, 1988 model Cartlight 152 Commander caravan, displaying index mark FR13 XC*, serial number known, bespoke features, very rare, value approx. £5300.

Rutland South Beat.

Ketton.

Theft in quarry at Castle Cement Works, between 22.53pm 6.6. and 12.30am 7.6.129 (Thur/Frid).  Enter secure compound, force secure steel container (use circular saw pull back open with vehicle) and stole contents two Walker plates ‘forward and reverse’ and a ‘petrol poking unit’ weighing ¾ of a ton.  Large powerful vehicle needed plus mechanical lifting gear.

Burglary dwelling Church Road,between 10am 1.6 and 4pm 7.6.19. Locked garage entered and cycle stolen, black Specialised Roubaix 2016 road bike, carbon fibre frame, value £800-1000. Any info or sightings please to PC 2113 Icke on tel 101.

 

Barrowden – Burglary-dwelling, Wakerley Road, between 5.30pm 27.5 and 6pm 6.6.19 (most likely last 4-5 days).  Key used to open side door of unoccupied house (For Sale) and £30-40 cash stolen from kitchen.  Keys to locked garage found and 5 boxes of vintage tools stolen.  Likely that a vehicle was used to carry away.  If you saw anything suspicious please pass information by tel 101 to PC 2113 Icke.
