Local Crime Update for Rutland – 7 days ending 11.8.19.

Oakham Beat.

None appropriate for circulation.

North Beat.

Greetham– Burglary non-dwelling, at the Ram Jam Inn, Great North Road.  At approximately 3.20am the alarm was activated when entry was gained at the side of the premises.  Three suspects with covered faces were seen nearby.  Nothing believed stolen.

Burley – Burglary non-dwelling, Langham Lane, between 7am 1.6 and 9.10am 18.7.19. Stolen Active Med Combi Pro therapeutic rug for horses, and a Premier Equine rug.

South Beat.

Tickencote –Vehicle Crime, Great North Road (Northbound), between 4.15am – 4.23am 6.8.19 (Tues).  HGV driver disturbed two men trying to gain entry into trailer.  Lock picked but nothing taken.  An Alfa Romeo was then seen to drive north at high speed.  NO other info available.

Uppingham Beat.

UppinghamCriminal damage (graffiti spray) between 11pm 6.8 and 1am 7.8.19 to house in High Street West.  One arrest made  Investigation continues.
