Local Crime Update for Rutland – 7 days ending 14.3.20.

Oakham Beat.

Criminal Damage – Huntsman Drive, Harrington 6th Form Car Park.  Between 8.30am-10.30am 10.3.20 (Tues|). Driver left vehicle intact, when returned found scratches on all panels apparently by metal object.

Rutland North Beat.

Whitwell – Theft of electric pedal cycle from hire area of Rutland Water Cycling Centre, Bull Brigg Lane.  About 3pm 8.3.20 4 persons entered, 3 distract staff, whilst 4th removes cycle.  Stolen Cube Reaction electric mountain bike, 19”, value £2,300.  Serial number not yet available.  Model shown below.

Teigh – Burglary Residential, Main Street.  Between 5pm 11.3 and 11.32am 12.3. (Wed/Thur) shed at address broken into, lock cut, items taken.  List and description of property not yet known.

Rutland South Beat.

Ketton  – Theft of 15@ metal gate (lifted off hinges) overnight 2/3.3.20 at Holmes Farm.  Value £200.

Uppingham Beat.

Robbery – Dillons Shop, High Street West, approximately 3.20pm 8.3.20 (Sun).  Woman enters shop and threatens assistant with scissors.  Stolen approximately £400 plus stock.  Suspect female approx. 30 years.  Better description awaits.  Any information please to CID Eastern Counties quoting crime ref 20*132046.
