New suspicious phishing email reporting facility

New Suspicious Phishing Email Reporting Facility

Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, there has been a marked increase in both Covid-19 type scams, but also in phishing emails of all types – “banks”, Netflix, HMRC, DVLA, Supermarket vouchers and surveys to name just a few

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has launched a new reporting service for suspicious emails.

Anyone can now forward suspicious emails to report@phishing.gov.uk

The service has been co-developed with the City of London Police. As well as helping to identify and take down malicious sites, it will also help by identifying new patterns in online offending.
