Ketton – Theft from motor vehicle between 8pm 5.2 and 7am 6.2.21 (Frid/Sat), from black Land Rover Defender (2006 model) parked in High Street, just north of J/W Bull Lane. Victim reports windscreen removed from vehicle and left behind. Front nearside and offside doors stolen, interior of car searched including handbag. Tool marks found on spare wheel and bodywork.
Those responsible are likely to have had a vehicle/van parked nearby. Any persons living in High Street between the Northwick Arms public house and the Village shop or travelling along that main road who saw person(s) acting suspiciously are asked to contact PC 2113 Icke quoting Crime ref. 21*075632.
*Update* Please be mindful of your vehicle security if you own a Land Rover Defender. We have had a number stripped for parts in Rutland and surrounding areas. We are urging owners to take preventative action to mitigate the risk of being targeted.
