Rutland Local Crime Update for 7 days ending 10.05.2020

Oakham Beat:

Oakham Post Office (04/05/20) – cannabis ordered over the internet identified by staff, and recovered by officers preventing the package being successfully delivered. Drugs will be destroyed.

Rutland North Beat:

Great North Road, Greetham (04/05/20) – curtain side theft from lorry parked in layby (one with Suzie’s Diner) between 10pm that night and 6.30am the next morning when the driver discovered the theft.

Rutland South Beat:

Mill Road, Seaton (04/05/20) – burglary of horse stables, offenders have used a stolen white Renault Master van during burglary, which has been recovered by police. Crime occurred between 7pm that evening and 8am the next morning when the owner discovered the burglary. No property missing from this crime.
Uppingham Beat:
Nothing of note.
