Appeal for Information re burglary/murder of Howard Staff, about 3.45pm 13.1.20, in Gibson Close, Leicester.

6 persons have now been arrested.  Anyone who knows anything about what happened is encouraged to contact Police.  If you were in the area and recall seeing anything out of the ordinary or unusual, please get in touch.”  See links below.

Vehicle Crime Kings Road – taking of Vespa Scooter, between 6pm 11.1 and 3.30pm 12.1.20.  Parked securely opposite home of loser.  Scooter later found abandoned Doulton Close, Desborough, Kettering.

Vehicle Crime Parkfield Road – van parked and locked outside victim’s home.  Nearside door lock forced and cage separating front of van from rear unscrewed and tools in rear stolen.  Stolen: Two Makita impact wrenches appro £200, Makita batteries, two x 3 amp and 3 x 5 amp (latter sprayed white), Makita battery charger, and a Stihl disc cutter, orange and white, splattered in blue paint.

Rutland North Beat.

Market Overton – Criminal damage at Bowls Club, Bowling Green Lane, between 9am 6.1 and 8am 16.1.20.  Electric box pulled off hinges.

Hambleton – Theft of mobile phone from Hambleton Hall, Ketton Road, between 9.30am and 11am 6.1.20.  Phone left charging in staff room.  Later tracked to Cash Converters in Leeds.
