Fond Parisien http://digitalfirefly.co.uk/tag/facebook/ Important message from the Trustees of Rutland NHW Association

Is Uppingham Co-op somewhere you can or could shop?

If so, PLEASE READ ON.  You could help Rutland NHW Association financially, at little and very probably no cost at all to yourself!

Rutland NHW Association is currently one of the three local causes being supported by Uppingham Co-op in a promotion which runs until the end of October 2021. One penny in every pound which Co-op members spend on Co-op branded products in the store will be given to one of these three causes.  A further penny will also go to the Alltogether Fairer Fund to create lasting change on big issues like access to food, mental well-being support and education and employment.

Furthermore, members can request that all the funds raised from their own Co-op branded purchases are given to the cause of their own personal choice.  This means that if members nominate Rutland NHW Association as their preferred cause, we shall have an even greater share of the monies available.  For ways to do this, please see below.

These funds are vital for us to be able to continue our charitable work, especially the development and promotion of our award-winning Rutland NHW app, which we hope to attract many more Rutland residents to use over the coming years and thereby help us to support the police in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour in Rutland.

Please support us this year by shopping at Uppingham Co-op, by becoming a member of the Co-op if you are not currently (membership costs only £1 and can be applied for on-line or by downloading the Co-op app today) and, in particular, if or when you are a member, by nominating Rutland NHW Association (scheme number 52769) as your preferred cause.

If you know of others in different parts of the country who would be willing to do the same, please pass these details on to them.  A template message is available on the Rutland NHW Association website for you to use for this purpose.  As long as the Co-op where they shop is one which belongs to the “Blue” Co-op group, they can nominate Rutland NHW Association as their preferred cause.  These Co-op stores are identifiable by their blue and white logo, one colour for the background and the other colour for the Co-op name. Please note that the Co-op stores in Peterborough and Market Harborough are part of this group:  however, those in Oakham, Melton and Corby are NOT.

Thank you very much.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
