New Year Resolution?

Why not think about getting a house alarm?  Make a rough list of your valuables both financial and sentimental.  Can you afford to lose them?

The cost is relative, once installed it is probably about £100 per year to service, for which you will get a reduction in your house insurance.  Compare this with what you pay for the family mobile phones (2?), per month?  What is the point of putting valuables in a safe if thieves have time to steal the safe?

Thieves weigh up the risks when they commit burglary, an alarm is an added risk of draing attention to themselves.  They will usually look for one of the many houses without.

Have a very happy and peaceful New Year.

Russ Horne.
